Nicole is Lizelle’s younger sister who put up with a lot over the years. Nicole is the glue and planner of the family. Lizelle will never admit it out loud, but she really looks up to Nicole despite being her older sister. Lizelle's favorite memory of Nicole is when they would make home movies together using a combination claymation techniques, Barbies and plastic animals. Sadly, those movies were lost to the ether as they would have been great contenders for Best Animated Feature.

Renee Comfort Fitzgerald

Renee is Lizelle’s youngest sister. Renee is Lizelle’s fashion and style confidante/mentor. Lizelle and Renee both enjoy the finer things and life and both love to vacation like there is no tomorrow. Lizelle's favorite memory of Renee is when they went to Vienna together and visited the Hapsburg mansion and Sisi museum-Renee dressed up to see the Vienna orchestra in a floor length ball gown when most of the audience was in jeans (bc she fancy like that)!

Marisa Cornejo

Bridesmaid

Lizelle and Marisa met in ObGyn residency in the Bronx. They felt an instant kindred spirit. Lizelle always felt like she could be her weird self around Marisa. They also both love dinosaurs! Lizelle's favorite memory of Marisa is when they were both interns together on the same gynecology service and Lizelle taught Marisa how to do an ABG on a Gyn Onc patient. A close second was when they stumbled into Lizelle's apartment at 4-5am and woke Daniel up when he had to work early on a Saturday.

Brenda Kissane

Bridesmaid

Lizelle and Brenda met freshman year of high school and instantly connected. They felt a shared passion for Amnesty International, Abercrombie and Fitch, and the Beatles. Lizelle feels like she has lived a hundred lives since meeting Brenda; while they are very different people from when they met, they still find so much common ground and continue to fight the patriarchy! Lizelle's favorite memory of Brenda is when they were driving around during Christmas time and got lost and Brenda's mom Alice kept shouting "there's the gazebo!" to try to redirect them.

Hannah Ramos

Bridesmaid

Hannah is literally Lizelle's oldest friend. They met in third grade and stayed friends through elementary, middle, high school, and beyond. Lizelle admires how Hannah always tells it like it is and doesn't sprinkle sugar on bullshit. Lizelle's favorite memory of Hannah was when they snuck in to the movie theater to see Brokeback Mountain and were the only non-senior citizens in the movie theater.
