What happens if I don't RSVP on time?

Answer

We kindly ask that all of our guests RSVP by August 1st. We need to provide an accurate guest count to our venue and vendors in a timely manner. Unfortunately, if we do not receive your RSVP by the specified date, we will be unable to accept any late responses, and we will miss out on having you with us on our special day. Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Although we'd love to say yes, we have a strict guest list due to venue capacity. Our wedding is RSVP only and we will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress to impress! Formal attire only, please! Ladies, be aware that our ceremony will be taking place in an outdoor garden; be mindful of footwear to avoid sinking into the grass! The reception will be held in a tented area on sturdy ground (although I'm sure all of us will be barefoot by the end of the night, haha)

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes! All drinks will be on us, so you can relax and enjoy the celebration. We kindly ask that you drink responsibly and have a great time.

When should I arrive at the venue?

Answer

Our ceremony is scheduled to begin at 4:30 PM. We kindly ask that all guests arrive at least 30 minutes earlier, by 4:00 PM, to ensure you have ample time to settle in before the ceremony starts. If you happen to arrive after the ceremony has already begun, we request that you do not enter the ceremony space. Instead, please wait until we have concluded and moved to the cocktail hour space. This will help us avoid any disturbances and ensure that everything flows smoothly.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony/reception?

Answer

We are not providing any formal transportation for the events, but our ceremony and reception are taking place in the same location. There is ample parking for those who feel comfortable driving, and Uber/Lyft is a great option for those who don’t. Please stay safe and default to a ride service or carpooling if you plan to drink!

Is there parking for the ceremony/reception?

(This question is for our loved ones with parking anxiety, you know who you are) YES, there is free parking on site. Please use the entrance driveway at the purple welcome sign. After the gatehouse, follow signs for House & Gardens parking.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you join us in having an "unplugged" ceremony. To ensure that our professional photographer can capture the best moments without any distractions, we request that all cell phones and cameras be put away during the ceremony. Please feel free to take as many photos as you'd like during the cocktail hour and reception. Our wonderful photographer will capture plenty of beautiful moments, and we will happily share these photos with family and friends after the event.
