You can fly to Savanah, Georgia or Jacksonville, Florida, however the JAX Airport is a bit closer to Jekyll.
There are rental homes/condos/apartments/hotel rooms to fit any budget. We highly suggest finding a rental space on the island rather than a hotel room, as you don't have use of a kitchen in a hotel. There are limited food options on the Island, so a kitchen can come in handy. The island is fairly small as well, so as long as you're on it, no one will be too far away from one another.
Yes and no. Yes because there are little to no car shares/taxis in the area. You will need a car to get to and from the airport. Once on the island, however, it's pretty easy to get around. Jekyll is very walker/biker friendly with paths to get you anywhere you'd want to go. Bikes are easily rented, as are golf carts, so take your pick and save on gas!
Sorry folks, no kiddos for this one.
Please contact Ellen Reidy (MOH and sister to the bride) if you have any more questions regarding the wedding.
Zack and Liz will be staying at 10 Albright Lane, Jekyll Island. That will be home base for the majority of the bridal party, so come on by and say hi when you get into town!
