Will Thomas and I met on the dance floor at a mutual friend's wedding. We noticed each other from the very beginning of the night as we were both busting some moves. I remember hoping he would come up to me as we kept making eye contact on the dance floor. He kept me waiting and we did not talk all night until he came up to me and asked me to dance for the very last song. We danced to Eric Clapton's song, "Wonderful Tonight." The picture below is from the night we met. Little did I know that my future husband was actually dancing right behind me! We are so excited for you to join us on the dance floor where it all began for us. When we first started our slow dance, Will Thomas asked me where I was from. I told him I was from Montgomery and went to a small, Christian school from kindergarten to 12th grade that he probably hadn't heard of called Eastwood. Funnily enough, he told me that he had actually been baptized as an infant at Eastwood and that his parents had gone there for a few years until they moved. I remember my jaw dropping at how crazy this coincidence was. We had both gone to Eastwood and went to Auburn, but we were meeting like this in Orlando, FL. We absolutely love this story because it is a testament to God's Providence and how He keeps His people together. I can only imagine God orchestrating us meeting and the joy it gives Him seeing us marvel at His perfect timing for our story. We are so excited to see how His perfectly, mysterious Providence will be revealed in how He will use us for His glory together as husband and wife!
