April 12th, 2021 was the most magical night for us! We met at the pool of our apartments just after covid had started to slow down and every amenity in our apartment complex had reopened. It turned out that we lived 2 doors down from each other on the same floor the whole time and never ran into each other. The most magical thing about our story has been how organic and effortless our relationship has been. We won't say it was love at first sight, but it was very dang close! We felt it in our hearts from the very first night we met. Since day one, we saw each other everyday almost! Thomas was such a gentleman and always so thoughtful. The second time we saw each other he made me chicken parmesan for dinner, the third he took me breakfast from First Watch to my door at 7am so I would have something to eat before going into work, the fourth he bought me flowers, and so on. We were inseparable! Two weeks in we had our "official" first date at Ocho in San Antonio, a breathtaking restaurant, he asked me if I wanted to be his girlfriend and.... I said no. I made him wait for at least one month in order to ask me again, and I told him I would say yes then. Sure enough, one month into knowing each other he took me strawberry/blackberry picking at a farm on the outskirts of Houston where our relationship officially began. I will be honest though, our first date at Ocho, though I said no to being his girlfriend, I knew that day that I would marry him. That has been the most magical day of our lives...so far! We have let our hearts guide us to each other since day one, and we finally get to share the rest of our lives together! With God by our side, here's to staring our new story of us!
