We’re getting married!

Liz and Spencer met online through hinge. Actually, Liz super liked Spencer and waited days for him to reach out to her! Finally, he did. Spencer drove from Rock Hill SC to take Liz out when she was living in Asheville NC. It was instant connection and friendship. Liz had been and was going through a lot during this time, and come to find out, so was Spencer. They met at a time where both of them had a lot of healing to do. As Liz says often "they healed each other". What she means is, they healed themselves with the help of each other. They were and are instantly best friends and soul mates. They never judge each other but meet each other where they are in life and help them grow to be better people. The first date was full of laughter and smiles. Spencer dropped Liz off and went to leave, when she demanded he come back and kiss her before he left. Spoiler alert, she never let him stop kissing her after that! It was instant fireworks at the first kiss. They knew they had found once in a lifetime love. Spencer and Liz spent the first year of their relationship driving long distance on the weekends to see each other. Through hail storms, car break downs, and other obstacles, they managed to see each other as much as possible. However, a year was enough of long distance and so Liz moved to Charlotte. She knew it was a risk but every time she left him it was like leaving a piece of her heart behind. So, she moved home (Spencer=home). After she moved everything fell into place. They had been in love with each other for a while but Liz worked up the courage to tell Spencer on fourth of July (yes while the fireworks were going off it was very romantic.). Every day their love continues to grow for each other. Forever best friends and soon to be husband and wife. Fast forward to August 2025 and Spencer's mom (thanks Theresa!) gave them an opportunity to go to Maui, Hawaii. Two days into the trip in front of his sisters and Mom, Spencer proposed in Napalli bay at sunset. It truly was breathtaking and perfect. Liz half tackled him to the beach saying "OH MY GOD YES!". Spencer taught Liz and continues to teach her that true love is kind, patient, and unconditional. Through everything their love for each other never wavers and is unyeilding. Most importantly they have the most fun with each other. Life really didn't start for either of them until they met each other. On the weekends you can find them going for drives in Spencer's cars, watching The Office, working out, and taking their dog on long walks. Spencer and Liz love to travel and experience new things together (like learning to drift!). Spencer is now a proud dog dad to their baby Carson and a reluctant but happy cat dad to Stewart and Little. The five of them make up their family unit that live in Mt. Holly together. Liz bartends at Osteria LuCa in Charlotte and Spencer works for BMW/Ducatti. They have met an amazing group of friends at Osteria and BMW. Spencer and Liz's love for each other is truly a fairytale or once in a lifetime love. It is unwavering and unconditional. They challenge each other and push each other to be the healthiest and best versions of each other they can be.
