Glacier National Park
One of our favorite parts about coming to Whitefish is the proximity to Glacier. The west entrance is about 45 minutes from downtown Whitefish and we feel is a can’t miss experience if you’re in the area. There are lots of different activities offered in the park, we suggest looking through their website for available attractions!
Golf
If you’d like to get in a round while you’re in town, reach out to Whitefish Lake Golf Club for tee times.
Fishing
Montana River Anglers is located in Whitefish and offers trout fishing and fly fishing on the Flathead river, near Glacier National Park, and from Whitefish to Missoula. Most of the float trips are taken in the comfort and class of drift boats, offering the angler a stable casting platform as well as access to the best water.
Horse Back Riding
You can enjoy a one-hour, two-hour, or a half-day ride through wooded mountain trails with Bar W Guest Ranch. Your trail ride will begin with properly matching you and one of their sure-footed horses, followed by an orientation that is designed to help you feel confident on your horse.
Whitefish Lake
