Maid of Honor
Caroline aka Susie is my little sister who has grown up to be my dearest friend and constant supporter. She has cried and prayed with me through different seasons, encouraged me and always points me to Christ.
Best Woman
Ruby is my youngest sister and also my partner in crime over the last few years. We've traveled to several baseball parks, US national parks and have eaten our fair share of food. Ruby has been a source of encouragement and fun and has been my closest friend over the last several years.
Bridesmaid
Jean is my bonus sister, married to my brother Charles. She is a master organizer and gift-giver and always inspires me with her positive attitude and love for others.
Groomswoman
Reeba, aka Stree, is our middle sister, wife to my brother in law Justin, mother to my nieces Julianna and Gabriella and nephew Lukas. I am thankful for her words of encouragement and constant prayer for me and our family. Some of my favorite memories are spending time together as a family in Michigan or in Dallas and being able to talk as brothers and sisters in Christ.
Bridesmaid
Sheila aka Suni has been by BFF since we were 3 years old! We started off in diapers together and went through every milestone side by side. She loved me so much that she decided to marry my cousin just so we could be family ;)
Groomsman
Kavin is one of the funniest men I know. We became friends after I led our Peru 2006 trip and was also his mentor at our church. From there we stayed in touch, became close friends and a part of the infamous U-Bros crew. Thankful for his time, generosity and whenever I needed it, an inappropriate joke that made me LOL.
Bridesmaid
Jennifer is my cousin who stayed up late one night setting up my Hinge which opened the door to meeting my future husband! I owe you Jen ;) When she is not matchmaking, you can find her creating culinary masterpieces at @jennycakesbakery.
Groomsman
Pete is one of my closest friends. We tell everyone we have nothing in common but Jesus, but that has spurred a great friendship, brotherhood and partnership for over 20 years. Miss serving alongside him at HMCC, but thankful that we have maintained our friendship all these years.
Bridesmaid
Betsy and I met at church in 2009, scoped each other out for a while, had our "first date" at Ariana Kabob House, bonded at a church retreat and the rest is history! She has been my prayer partner, cheerleader, adventure buddy and dear friend.
Groomsman
'Unni' is my oldest friend. Our parents are best friends and we became best friends. I am thankful for his generosity and love and not too thankful for his bad jokes. It has been a privilege to see him grow to become a great husband and father and I have learned a lot from him.
Groomsman
Jaisen has been one of my oldest and closest friends. We did everything together; sleepovers, carol singing, football games, regional conferences, prayer meeting, eating contests and much more. I had the privilege of standing in his wedding to Betsy and now I am thankful to have him standing in mine!
Groomsman
Stephen is also one of my oldest friends. We really got close when he transferred to UofM Ann Arbor. I credit Stephen as the man God used to challenge me to get serious about my faith. Now Stephen lives with his family in London; looking forward to visiting him and seeing a Chelsea futbol game!
Groomsman
I met Matt on my first missions trip back in 2003. We went to Peru together and have been close friends ever since I gave him a hug with no shirt on. We not only share a passion for Detroit sports, a disdain for each other's college teams, but also a passion to serve God together. Thankful for his prayers, generosity, friendship and support all these years! Also thankful that he's willing to stand in my wedding after I missed his. :)
Groomsman
Shawn and I have known each other for many years, but he became a close brother over the last 5-10 years. What I most appreciate about Shawn is during the pandemic, when it was hard, he made time for me. I especially am thankful for our trip to Holland, MI where we got in trouble using jet skis; no wave, no gas!
