We owe our beginning to an unstoppable matchmaking duo: Liz’s best friend Kasey and Patrick’s mom’s best friend Cheralaine. Liz had just moved to Charlotte and agreed to a blind date drink. That “quick drink” turned into drinks, an Italian dinner, and Jeni’s ice cream. It was one of those first dates that kept unfolding because neither of us wanted it to end. Since then, we’ve built a life full of little adventures - most of them involving our dogs, Nori and Cobi, and the trails in Western North Carolina. Hiking became our thing: our way to reset, explore, and spend time together outside of Charlotte. A few years (and many miles of trails) later, Patrick proposed in Montreat, NC - one of our favorite spots. Now we’re tying the knot at the Grove Park Inn this fall, surrounded by the people who’ve been cheering us on from that very first blind date. We hope you can join us in celebration!
