How we met will be too many a surprise because our love story started on a dating app. We started chatting but honestly I had no expectations. When we decided to meet up we met up at at Starbucks to grab a coffee. I love coffee and at the time I thought he did too, but come to find out he hates coffee and only met me there because he wanted to meet me. I can honestly say he was a very happy surprise in my life. He shocked me back then and surprises me all the time 10 years later. We hit it off right away, like the kind of connection you get when you meet someone that you felt you have known for a lifetime. We connected on a very natural level. It was effortless to be with him and he with me. Looking back I feel like we casually dated for awhile but became serious pretty quickly. Like every long relationship we had are ups and we had our downs but I have to say the pregnancy and birth of our little Iliana really took our relationship to the next level and i think its because we really elevated ourselves as a couple but more importantly individually. We have learned the value of life from a different perspective. Our life's journey has different meaning now as parents and I truly believe we value each other more because of it. Life has a funny way of transforming you and guiding you to enjoy your life for all its worth. I am beyond elated to come to a point in our relationship after a decade of growth and life to celebrate our love together. I couldn't have planned it out more perfect even if I wanted to. So with tons of excitement I am proud to say we will be celebrating 10 years together this July 13, 2022 and am beyond excited to celebrate with everyone the union of our love February 19, 2023.
