Nick and I met on a dating app several months after each of us relocated to Florida. I found his page first and couldn't stop laughing; his jokes were so funny! I commented on a picture of soup that he had captioned, "me if I was a bowl of Korean noodles soup." I told him I was impressed with how forthcoming he was about his soup identity, which he found clever, so we started talking. We hit it off immediately (did you know he has genetically sequenced a fish?) and met for our first date two weeks later. After a long evening of Cajun food and incessant laughter, we were both ready for more fun nights together. Nick and I regularly refer to our dates as "adventures;" we like to try new restaurants, explore new parks, and ride bikes. We enjoy traveling together; we did an East Coast road trip to Maine and back in 2021 and a West Coast road trip in 2022. While in California, Nick proposed to me at the Ghost Tree on the 17 Mile Drive at Pebble Beach. Several days later, we went to Los Angeles, where he and I enjoyed the same Korean noodle soup he had posted on his dating app. Needless to say, we are looking forward to a lifetime of adventures together!
