Things To Do

We're excited to share some of our favorite places in the area! Please reach out if you need some specific planning ideas!

The Ransom Tavern

4778 South Road, Woodstock, VT 05071

Delicious artisanal pizza at a charming country inn. Recommend getting a reservation early if you plan to dine here, it's a popular spot!

Abracadabra Coffee Co.

35 Wayside Road, Woodstock, VT 05091

Outside of Woodstock, but worth the beautiful drive. Get a donut or waffle, you won't regret it!

Santé

61 Central Street, Woodstock, VT 05091

Great elevated dinner and true farm to table

Ottauquechee Yacht Club

21710 Maxham Meadow Way, Woodstock, VT 05091

While the name might be ironic, it's the local's favorite watering hole. Lots of games and live music regularly.

Au Comptoir

4 Mechanic Street, Woodstock, VT 05091

The cutest cocktail bar around. If you want an IG perfect place, this is it.

Woodstock Inn & Resort

14 The Green, Woodstock, VT 05091

Recommend stopping in for a drink and to roam the property. There's a fun game room in the basement too. And if you're looking for some pampering the spa is incredible.

Ramunto's Brick & Brew Pizza

101 Mill Road, Bridgewater, VT 05034

Close to the venue! Great pizza, fun vibes

Long Trail Brewing Company

5520 U.S. 4, Bridgewater, VT 05035

Very close to the venue! Tasty beers and great food. Recommend taking a beer out to the river

Back Country Cafe

923 Killington Road, Killington, VT 05751

All your favorite diner fare. Recommend hitting this up if you're struggling sunday morning...

Simon Pearce

1760 Quechee Main Street, Hartford, VT 05059

Come for the glass blowing demo, stay for the cocktails. A Quechee mainstay, it's worth a stop to check out the glass and the food is also great!

Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park

69 Old River Road, Woodstock, VT 05091

Great beginning to intermediate hiking. We recommend hiking up the Pogue and Mount Tom. The gardens at the mansion are also gorgeous and worth exploring

Silver Lake

Barnard, VT

Small but beautiful lake. There's a small beach that is a great place to swim or rent a canoe. We recommend stopping at the Barnard country store for a snack too. Also the store has free parking if you want to skip the state park.

Woodstock Scoops

20 Central Street, Woodstock, VT 05091

It's not a trip to Vermont without a maple creamee. Get the maple crunchees.

Mount Peg

Woodstock, VT 05091

Easy hike from Woodstock with a lovely view

Luce's Lookout

Woodstock, VT 05091

Easy to moderate hike with great views from a lookout tower. Pair with nearby Abracadabra coffee for a great morning adventure. Use the all trails directions, not google maps. Google maps will lead you astray here...

Deer Leap Trail

139 U.S. 4, Killington, VT 05751

One of our favorite local hikes! Moderate climb but great views!

The Foundry at Summit Pond

63 Summit Road, Killington, VT 05751

Right next to the Summit Lodge for those staying there!

The Rivershed Killington

747 Killington Road, Killington, VT 05751

Great Killington spot, often has live music

Worthy Kitchen

442 Woodstock Road, Woodstock, VT 05091

One of our favorite spots to eat in the area! Casual but great

River Roost Brewery

230 South Main Street, Hartford, VT 05001

Our favorite brewery around!

Village Butcher Shop

18 Elm Street, Woodstock, VT 05091

Great lunch spot! Pro tip–take a sandwich to go and head next door to the Woodstock Historical Society. There's hidden free park and picnic benches down by the river.

Phnom Penh Sandwich Station

7 South Main Street, Hartford, VT 05001

Awesome lunch spot in White River Junction

Wolf Tree

40 Currier Street, Hartford, VT 05001

Incredible little cocktail bar, recently nominated for a James Beard! Highly recommend the knife fight drink!

For all the days along the way
