When do I need to RSVP by?

We'd love RSVPs by August 15. If you need a little more time, just let us know!

Are kids invited?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, our ceremony and reception will be adults only (18 and above). We hope you can enjoy the evening off and let loose with your adult peers! If you choose to travel with your children, we encourage them to come to the Welcome Drinks on Friday and Bagels at the Beach on Sunday. There are also many baby sitting services in La Jolla that you can book for Saturday.

What is the best airport to fly into?

Answer

The San Diego airport (SAN) is only 20-30 minutes away from La Jolla and Estancia.

Where will all the events be?

Answer

The Saturday wedding events will all be conveniently on-site at the Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa. All other events on Friday and Sunday will be nearby within a 15 minute drive/Uber!

For an alternative hotel option, we recommend staying at the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines. It is about half the rate of Estancia and only a 5-minute drive/Uber down the road. That being said, there are tons of other convenient hotel options and AirBnbs nearby!

Do we need to rent a car?

Answer

You're welcome to rent a car, but all events and hotels are very Uber friendly from one another. If you will be staying at the Estancia and have a car, paid overnight parking will be available for $25. If you will be staying elsewhere but plan on driving to the venue, paid valet will be available for $25.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The Wedding and Reception are Cocktail attire. Our Welcome Drinks are Sleek Casual attire. Our Bagels at the Beach event is Casual attire.

Is this an indoor or outdoor event?

Answer

Our ceremony will be outdoors and our reception will be indoors. While La Jolla is known for its beautiful weather, we recommend bringing an extra layer for warmth when the sun goes down. Our Friday evening and Sunday morning events will be outdoors, so we recommend bringing layers as it will be chilly.

Will you have events on Friday and Sunday?

Yes! We'll have Welcome Drinks on Friday evening and Bagels at the Beach on Sunday morning. Both are casual events and kids are totally welcome to join in on the fun.
