It's Charleston, so hard to find a bad place to eat. Here are a few we recommend. Plenty of cool places to check out in Charleston. Pretty sure there is a beach or 2 nearby. There are: - Carriage Rides - Walking Rainbow Row an the Battery (downtown part of Charleston) - Check out the Market - Saturday mornings there is a Farmer's Market in the middle of Marion Square - take a drive to see the Angel Oak (about 30 minute drive to see)

Bit of a drive from downtown, but very cool place to hang out RIGHT on the water. Large outdoor deck and great place to just hang out and have a few drinks.
