Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes. Our dress code is cocktail attire, think long dresses and sport jackets. Please refrain from wearing white. The venue is enclosed, not outdoors, but there is a patio with seats and a fireplace if you would like to enjoy some fresh air. Note that rain is on the forecast.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive no earlier than 2:30 and no later than 2:45. The ceremony starts at 3pm! Please allot 10 minutes for parking and getting to the rooftop through the hotel lobby.

Question

Is the ceremony unplugged?

Answer

Yes! Please refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony. We encourage you to be fully present in these intimate moments.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We do not have a registry. Having you celebrate with us is the greatest gift. However, if you'd like to bless us further, or participate in 축의금, we are honoured to accept contributions to our honeymoon fund. Please refer to our 'Registry' tab.

Question

Answer

Hotel Ballard does not offer free parking. However, they do offer an onsite parking garage! Alternatively, you can park in a nearby garage or try your luck with street parking.

Question

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

If you stay onsite at Hotel Ballard, you should not need to rent car! If you want to explore Seattle and stay offsite, we would recommend renting one.

We do! You can check out the travel page for our recommendations.

Question

Answer

No, there will be an open bar. For cocktail hour, there will be a more limited selection of wine, signature drinks and beer. However, the reception will have a full bar available.

Question

Will this be a Christian wedding? What if I am not of the faith?

Answer

While this will be a Christian wedding, we want to warmly welcome all our guests. Please feel free to participate in spiritual elements (such as prayer, praise, blessings) at your comfort.

Question

I am at the hotel, how do I get to the Olympic Rooftop Pavilion?

Answer

Once you've made it to Hotel Ballard, there will be attendants directing you to the elevator. The elevator will take you to the rooftop floor, and the venue is directly across from the elevator.
