Roaring Marotta Wedding

We met on a typical Sunday afternoon. I was new to town and ventured into City Furniture, shopping for my new townhome. When I was greeted by who else than Joseph Marotta at the front door. Three furniture appointments later we had unknowingly put together our new home. By the end of the third appointment and a lot of patience on Joseph's part, he asked me out on our first date. I excitedly said yes and waited for him another two hours to get off work...we haven't left each others side since. #TakingAWifeFromTheDoor I was sitting in "City 1," that alone to people who know me, doesn't make sense. I met Elizabeth and opened the door for her. She had the look of someone doing home improvements, (A.K.A) she was covered in drywall and fresh paint from head to tippy toe. I could tell she was looking for a future husband! We get to talking and little did we know we were designing our home together! She spoke about where she was coming from, new opportunities and how she had the Ashley's Home store chime stuck in her head, telling her to come see me. We worked together over 3 days, over the coming weeks. During this time, small talk became personal. After purchasing, I walked her out towards closing time. I ask her to dinner, I remember my wet palms at that moment on the slick steel handle door. She smiled with excitement and countered my offer with drinks! We ended up closing the bar down that night and have never left each others sides since.

Let me set the scene for you... Joseph prepared an intimated dinner on the beautiful beach of San Juan, Puerto Rico. An elegant picnic basket is prepared by our personal vegan chef. Everything from sushi rolls, to delicious chocolate deserts, and my favorite champagne. We are enjoying the peaceful sunset over the ocean, sipping champagne. When he bends down on one knee and begins pulling out our delicious goodies from the basket. He then casually pulls out this stunning custom ring. Overwhelmed with excitement and love I accepted his proposal. I will never forget the look in his eyes when I said yes. It has been the happiest moment of our lives until the Big Day! Hands down the best birthday gift I could have ever hoped for!
