We first met when we both started working at the same Walmart. What started as a simple workplace introduction quickly turned into an inseparable friendship. For the first year and a half, we were truly best friends — always finding excuses to work the same shifts and constantly asking to be scheduled together. Unfortunately, management didn’t always cooperate, and we were often disappointed when we were placed on opposite schedules. Even so, we made the most of every moment we had. During that time, we discovered just how much we had in common and built a foundation of friendship that made it clear something even more special was growing between us. We officially started dating on June 30, 2021, and from the very beginning, we did everything together — shopping, gaming, and building a life side by side. More importantly, we learned how to show up for each other in every way possible. Our bond grew into something deeply rooted in love, care, and partnership. In December 2022, despite plenty of outside advice, we bought our first home together. We weren’t worried — we knew in our hearts this was forever. Then in November 2023, Jason popped the question, and of course, I said yes! Life brought changes after that. We both moved on from Walmart and found new paths, new coworkers, and new growth. While saving and planning for the wedding, we faced challenges that tested us — but those moments only strengthened our foundation. One particularly difficult day reminded me just how steady and supportive Jason truly is. Through every high and low, he has been my rock — emotionally, financially, and in every way that matters. Against all odds, our love has only grown stronger. We’re so excited to begin this next chapter of our lives as husband and wife.
