They met while working at a taco joint, known as Pinche Tacos. James had just graduated college and Liz was in school working on her degree to become a teacher. James bribed Liz with a dinner if she could cover his shift. She never says no to free food! He surprised her with a delicious dinner at Ocean Prime and the rest was history. PS- She knew it was a plot to take her on a date the whole time!
