We Are Getting Married!

Watch the movie "That Thing You Do" and you'll understand our relationship in a nutshell (minus her boyfriend at the time being an a**hole...he was cool!) Our story starts all the way back in 2003. Jake was in a band with Liz's then boyfriend. We had a pretty tight nit group of friends, we hung out every weekend. And then as time went on Liz and her boyfriend broke up and the friendship group shifted as things tend to do, but Liz and Jake always stayed friends. Our favorite thing to do together when we were friends was text one another at midnight and see if the other was still awake, usually this was a yes! Jake would pick Liz up and they would just drive for hours and talk. There was always a strong connection but things in our lives just never lined up. Flash forward to 2013 and finally we had found our time to try. We didn't waste much time within a few months there was a little Jasper on the way. The past 5 years have been some of the hardest and sweetest of both our lives. We can not wait to start this new chapter in our lives! Getting married at times seemed impossible with everything that seemed to pull us apart but we learned to lift each other up, even when we didn't want to and some how we made it here with our beautiful girls by our side. We really couldn't be any happier! We met in 2004! Yep thats 15 years. 9 years of friendship 6 years of dating Forever to be in love;)
