It's all happening!

First time we ever saw each other. Jake was a security guard and I was a patient care technician, both accompanying a patient down for a procedure. Once we arrived, we sat next to each other in complete silence, smiling at each other without knowing what to say, trying to not show the obvious nerves we were both feeling. It only took almost a full hour for Jake to finally break the awkward silence. Months later, after Jake continued to check in here and then, I finally accepted to go on a date with him. I specifically remember how Jake showed up with white roses and only continued to charm me by being a gentleman. He won't admit it, but he ordered the same exact thing I did for both food and drink, as he was trying his best to not be messy. After coming home from our first date, I knew I was hooked due to his wittiness and just had to find out what was under that mysterious front he carried around. Fast Forward 2+ years later to a romantic couple full of love and ideology that has one meaning: partnership. For years, I (Jake) had searched for someone who would treat me with such love. We have learned many life lessons together, and have enjoyed building our lives together this far. I am truly blessed to have the love she fills me with and to be the man she chose to walk beside and share her dreams. Every day I awake to her beauty, not only her beautiful brown eyes but her beautiful heart that makes me feel full and cared for.
