Liz and Jake spent nearly two years living across the street from each other at Penn State yet didn't meet until just weeks before graduation in 2013. Their time seemed limited, so they made the most of it by spending their nights at the Phyrst, sharing trays of fries, and savoring the energy that only a summer in State College can offer. After graduation, they dated for a time in Pittsburgh before life pulled them in different directions. Liz moved to New Jersey, while Jake stayed in Pittsburgh, each of them finding their way in the world. Well, wouldn’t you know it? In 2021, after all that time, their paths crossed at Boston’s wedding. Surrounded by friends and a little wedding magic, their spark was rekindled. Not long after, Jake moved to New Jersey, and together they’ve built a love that feels both familiar and brand new — the kind that only comes around once...orrrr... twice. This summer, they’ll return to State College, the place where it all began, to celebrate with the people they love most.
