Our wedding will take place at the Historic Park Theater located at 14 Park Street in Glens Falls, NY

Where is the reception?

Answer

The reception is in the same building as the ceremony. After the ceremony concludes we'll move downstairs into the Theater's speakeasy. While we enjoy cocktails the Theater's team will prepare the upstairs for dinner.

Is the wedding indoors?

Answer

Yes, the wedding will take place inside. The Park Theater has an outdoor patio area that we are welcome to use weather permitting.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire. Our wedding has an Art Deco theme, so guests are welcome to add Art Deco–inspired touches if they’d like. That said, there’s no need to buy anything new—just come in something you feel good in.

What does Art Deco inspired clothing look like?

Answer

Art Deco style is inspired by 1920s–30s fashion and design. Think elegant, vintage touches like metallic accents, geometric patterns, beading, or fringe. For example, a beaded or sleek cocktail dress, or a classic suit with a patterned tie or pocket square. These details are totally optional—standard cocktail attire is perfectly fine.

What time should we arrive for the ceremony?

Guests are welcome to arrive starting at 3:30. The ceremony will begin at 4.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

The Park Theater has limited parking, and those spaces will be reserved for handicapped parking. For guests staying at The Queensbury Hotel, the venue is about a five-minute walk away. Street parking is available throughout Glens Falls. There is also a public parking lot on Elm Street next to Downtown City Tavern, and street parking can usually be found near the corner of Ridge Street and Maple Street.

How late will the reception go?

The theater is open to us until 10 PM. Afterwards, we'll likely head over to the bar at the Queensbury Hotel.
