Enjoy a beautiful stroll in Albany's historic park. Liz set off fireworks here on a date night once! Needless to say, the fireworks continue to spark.
Empire State Plaza
Enjoy a walk around New York State's Capital buildings. We've enjoyed many nights walking around the Plaza causing mischief, surrounded by the beautiful Plaza lighting.
The Adirondacks
If you are here for the weekend, take a hike, short or long, in the beautiful Adirondacks.
Downtown Albany
Take some time to see Historic Albany. Walk around the Capitol building, visit USS Slater, spend some time at the New York State Museum. There are numerous bars in downtown Albany: The Olde English Pub, The Hollow, The Bull and Bee, City Beer Hall, The Yard.
Thacher State Park
John Boyd Thacher State Park is a gem in the Capital Region! Enjoy easy hiking trails, sights for miles, and beautiful foliage during the fall months. We've walked the paths many of times, enjoyed picnics, and even brought the tailgating grill!
Lark Street
With countless restaurants, cafes, bars, galleries, and shopping, Lark Street is the "Village of the City." While living in Albany, Lark Street was a go-to for a fun time with friends or on date nights!
