Take some time to see Historic Albany. Walk around the Capitol building, visit USS Slater, spend some time at the New York State Museum. There are numerous bars in downtown Albany: The Olde English Pub, The Hollow, The Bull and Bee, City Beer Hall, The Yard.
John Boyd Thacher State Park is a gem in the Capital Region! Enjoy easy hiking trails, sights for miles, and beautiful foliage during the fall months. We've walked the paths many of times, enjoyed picnics, and even brought the tailgating grill!
With countless restaurants, cafes, bars, galleries, and shopping, Lark Street is the "Village of the City." While living in Albany, Lark Street was a go-to for a fun time with friends or on date nights!
