We met all the way back in kindergarten (crazy, right) but our five year old selves didn't think much of it. After being best friends from pretty much 3rd grade on it wasn't until after we graduated high school and ended up over 800 miles away from each other that we knew we were meant to be in each other's lives.

Cory had been planning this proposal for MONTHS but with the covid shutdown those plans didn't work out. He ended up casually getting our families together for dinner (which seemed completely normal to me). We were running around all day: working outside, going to the grocery store, helping cook dinner for that night, even giving my brothers hair cuts because the salons were still closed. I barely got ready for the night with our families, thinking this was just a casual dinner. Cory had even dropped hints to me about looking nicer which I didn't pick up on at all. Finally after dinner Cory told me to get up and I started walking to the kitchen when I heard him start saying he couldn't wait any longer. That's when I turned around and he was on one knee. I had never been more surprised or excited in my life! We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our life with you all! See you all in June!
