The wedding is outside (mother nature permitting) - expect it to be a little warm and then a little chilly (60s at night). It's the first day of summer, so wear something that celebrates that - or don't! - wear whatever you feel good in.
No! We're taking over the Dillsboro Inn for the weekend and family is staying at AirBnbs near by. You might get a roommate at the inn, but chances are you're friends with them. It's cabin, ma-and-pa vibes, so if you're looking for something upscale, there are hotels in Dillsboro and Sylva.
Yes! A car rental is going to be your best bet. We're happy to help coordinate ride sharing though. Check your email - you should have gotten one from us - and respond in the thread with flight details if you want to ride share!
Some! We will provide pizza for dinner on Thursday and dinner the night of the wedding. Dinner on the night of the wedding is buffet style thai food, so if that's not your thing, then you might want to plan accordingly. We've got you if your vegetarian - if you think we might not know that you're veg, let us know! If you have any allergies, let us know!
Kinda? We'll buy a mess of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, but you'll be self serving.
Check the things to do tab or come hang out at the Dillsboro Inn! The Inn has ample outdoor space which is lovely to just take a sit by the river. TJ (the innkeep) has games, books, etc. Check the cooler if you're looking for a bev. Dillsboro is a cute town with good food, shopping, and a hop from the smokies. Sylva is maybe a little more happening if you want to take a quick drive.
Bring wedding attire, hiking clothes, hiking shoes, a swimsuit if you'd like to take a dip during a hike or get in the Dillsboro Inn hot tub, a light jacket, medications, really anything else you'd pack for a trip?
You could! He's odd in the best way. If he walks off in the middle of a conversation, it's not you.
