The worst thing is that they don’t have a cool couple name... Chriz and Lis don’t work and if you expand it to Christopher & Elizabeth, it just becomes a mess. Nonetheless, they’ve made it this far and these two love bird’s story began similar to many couples, at the workplace. They met on 2/27/17, Chris’s first day at his new job at DHL Express, and while some say he got hot for teacher, Liz was not his boss but his sales mentor. It started at a work happy hour one fateful night in Old Town (Chicago not Scottsdale..phew, good thing). As they both sang every word to State of Love & Trust by Pearl Jam, and realized they were the only ones on the dance floor, they knew a first date was destined on the books. Fast forward 9 months, they’re taking a secret Switzerland trip together, since their work romance was still kept under wraps, and Liz joined Chris’s fam for Thanksgiving. Chopper soon came to grips that he was not the only guy in Liz’s life anymore. DHL moved Chris to Madison, WI summer of 2018 but the 145 miles didn’t stand a chance against Chriz. As Chris always said, “love knows no bounds”. Many Madison weekends of bike ride adventures, brewery tours and singing to music videos until sunrise, they had officially fallen in love. Although you may not guess it if you find them on opposing sides of any bags, darts, board games or really any game that involves winning. Chris made his way back to Chi and they have been quarantine buddies ever since. These soon to be newlyweds are absolutely thrilled for you to join them on this next step in their journey of love and just hope you can keep up on the dance floor!
