Our first date was almost brunch! Can you imagine? But it was inevitable that we would go on a hike and never stop hiking. On that first walk at Cherokee Marsh Conservation Park we didn't know that we would later buy a house nearby, or that we'd walk our beloved Gertie Sue next to that location nearly every day just a few short years later. On that first walk, we just knew that we felt a spark and that there were a LOT of weird coincidences drawing us together. Phantom of the Opera. Frankenstein. Our love of musicals and the outdoors and reading and writing and creating. Our shared sense of justice and doing what's right. After that first date, we spent the next week seeing each other pretty much every day. And that soon became our life! Nothing has ever felt so natural or easy for either of us, and we're so excited to be getting married in beautiful Edinburgh. Thanks to all of the friends and family who have supported us along the way and who continue to support us individually and as a couple as we continue to grow.
