We Can't Wait to Celebrate with you in St. Augustine!

Brendon (originally from Jacksonville, Florida) and Liz (originally from Lafayette, Indiana) both moved to San Francisco for work around the same time but did not meet until the fall of 2016. Liz sat next to Brendon on a bus to Berkeley organized by one of their mutual friends (Thanks Zo!) for the CAL vs University of Texas football game tailgate. Brendon said Liz, a recruiter by trade, asked him an endless amount of questions about himself on the ride to Berkeley and conversation with Liz was very easy! He did not forget Liz after that, and the two continued to see each other out at the local Marina bars and parties held by mutual friends. Liz said she ALWAYS noticed Brendon, because any Saturday they ran into each other, he was, without fail, wearing head-to-toe blue and orange, Florida gators clothing! (A University of Florida grad, Brendon is a die-hard gators fan!) It wasn't until November of that year that the two went on their first date. Both Liz and Brendon stayed in San Francisco over Thanksgiving weekend and had plans to meet for happy hour drinks. The bar they were supposed to meet in was closed, so Liz wandered into a local cheeseburger spot, Super Duper, for beers and fries while waiting for Brendon to meet up and the bar to open. When Brendon spotted her eating fries and waiting with IPAs, he knew she was a girl after his own heart! They spent the night bar hopping, eating, talking, trading stories, and laughing. After that night they quickly realized they had a ton in common—Both loved the band Radiohead, were Catholic, liked to travel the world, were career-driven, loved ranking their favorite fast food restaurants, and were both athletically active. But more than anything there seemed to be almost constant laughter between them, a laughter that has not subsided four years later! In their four years of dating, the two have built a life together in the San Francisco Bay Area and they cannot wait to share their story!
