Our wedding will take place at the Martindale Schoolhouse, a historic home in Martindale, TX, located about 40 minutes outside of Austin.
We highly encourage our guests to rent a house for the weekend and enjoy this charming area of the Texas hill country! (See Things To Do tab for some of our favorite spots.)
We suggest staying in Martindale or Lockhart. Martindale is a tiny town known for it's unique character and beautiful location on the river. Lockhart is located about 10 minutes up the road and is full of fun restaurants, bars, and BBQ- this is such a cute town we love visiting and highly recommend.
There are not many hotels, so we encourage looking at AirBnb or VRBO. Below are some homes we have found.
**Update 4/8: Most houses have already been booked, but we will continue updating this page with options we find. San Marcos is also an option and very close by. Uber, Lyft, & Fetii are available in Martindale for those looking for safe rides back to Austin.
