Wedding Party venue is in Santa Monica, at the Santa Monica Airport (about 20 minutes from LAX)

Basically everything is about 20 minutes away if we're drawing a triangle from LAX to Santa Monica Airport to Marina Del Rey
If you want to do other LA things, just plan accordingly for traffic, etc and you might want a rental car if you'll be outside of the above triangle.
