Our wedding will be fairly casual. Think "nice casual"....be comfortable but not tooooooo comfortable. Don't come formal and wear good shoes for a grassy venue. And bring "camp" chairs if you want to sit outside.
Sure. Please keep in mind the venue is on the water and there is a dock.
Let's face it, most of us know Easton fairly well and those who don't will likely be using their navigation of choice. I'll update with any specifics when it gets closer and I have more information. The venue will have someone helping with parking.
Of course. We will not be having a formal photographer, but we would love to have pictures you take. Just be a considerate photographer.
I have provided some Easton hotels available. If you are looking for something in particular, feel free to contact me or Bill.
We will be having hors d'oeuvres, beer, wine, and soft drinks. We will certainly be taking into account some vegetarian and gluten-free options. If you are bringing children, please feel free to have special treats from home if they are picky eaters.
As outlined, this will be a casual event. The wedding ceremony will likely be brief and will start promptly at 2:00 pm. This will be followed by an Open House Reception. Feel free to join us for the ceremony at 2:00. Or just drop by at some point between 3:00 and 8:00. The manor house has several rooms indoors, a beautiful yard with a large tree swing, a dock, and a wrap-around porch. We are counting on a beautiful sunny day!
As I have been in those shoes, I understand this question. If you have any special needs, please just reach out to me.
Let's be honest...at our age, we pretty much have everything we need. If you feel strongly, we will take wine, local beer, and cash for some home/beach improvements. You can also donate to a charity of your choice....some of our choices include Brigance Brigade, the Dave Haslup Scholarship Foundation, American Cancer Society, Hope Children of Ukraine, Talbot Hospice, TCPS Education Foundation, and Hope of Life International.
