Alex and Liz both entered Marquette University’s campus as freshmen in 2010. Their paths crossed through mutual friends and at many a house party in college, but they were both busy having too much fun. Almost every year since graduating in 2014, their paths would cross yet again on National Marquette Day, the most wonderful day of the year for a Marquette alum. Undoubtedly, some initial sparks may have started to fly. Finally, after a Madison-Marquette game on a cold, snowy night in December of 2022, they both found themselves at the famous Milwaukee Brat Haus, where they really hit things off over some Spotted Cows and cheese curds. Ever since then, they never looked back! Alex moved from Green Bay to Milwaukee in 2024 and in June of 2025, he proposed to Liz back where it all started in front of the St. Joan of Arc Chapel on Marquette's campus.
