Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception will take place at Tyler Arboretum (515 Painter Rd, Media, PA 19063) on Saturday, May 28, 2022.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 6pm. You're welcome to come to Tyler Arboretum anytime the day of the ceremony to explore the beautiful grounds though - just let the Tyler Visitor Center know that you are wedding guests when you arrive.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, we're asking that guests wear cocktail attire to the ceremony and reception. Our ceremony will be taking place on a grassy field, so please keep this in mind when choosing your footwear!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, we've booked a block of rooms at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Philadelphia Center City. There are also a ton of hotels and Airbnbs throughout the city. Please see the Lodging and Travel tab for more information.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know if you have a food allergy when you RSVP and we will do our best!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, Tyler Aboretum has on-site parking for about 80 cars plus additional overflow parking, so there should be ample parking. We will also have shuttles from the wedding hotel for anyone who would like to meet there.

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we've rented two school buses to pick guests up at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Center City. Buses will arrive at the DoubleTree at 4:15pm and will leave promptly at 4:30pm. Buses return from the venue to the DoubleTree at 11pm. **Please note that any wedding guests can take these buses, not just those staying at the DoubleTree.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes, we're hosting an open house at Liz's parents' house on Friday, May 27th and a casual barbecue on Sunday, May 29th, so please feel free to stay the weekend!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are at capacity with our venue which means we are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests. We look forward to celebrating with you on the day!

Covid safety information

Answer

Out of an abundance of caution, we ask that all guests are vaccinated. Our wedding ceremony will take place outside in the open air (weather-permitting). The reception will be held beneath a tented pavilion with the sides open for ventilation, and dancing will take place in a barn. You can learn more about the venue at https://tylerarboretum.org/.
