Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point) is a 3 1/2 hour drive from the Phoenix area. The border hours are 6am - 8pm daily. A passport or passport card are required.
Hotels can be booked directly with the hotel of choice. You may also search AirBnB or VRBO for places to stay. Las Palmas and Sonoran Sea are the closest to Banditos. You can walk there. Other nearby hotels are Princesa, Esmerelda, Las Palomas, Sonoran Sky, and Playa Bonita. There are also homes and condos for rent on VRBO and AirBnB.
Banditos is located along the Sandy Beach area.
We recommend bringing Pesos, your money will go further using Pesos. You can get them from your bank or in Puerto Penasco at a money exchange place.
