Our Story

Luke knew from a young age that he had to be a winner to capture Liza’s heart.

He followed a serious fitness regimen…

…And trained in self-defense to ward off Liza’s other suitors.

He always dreamed of finding her.

Liza was a fashion icon from the moment she was born.

She often practiced scaring away men who mixed brown belts and black shoes.

And studied Elizabethan Poetry and the role nature-human interaction played in shaping protracted struggles over land use and ownership. (Pictured: reading primary sources for her PhD dissertation.)

Luke tried to win fame as an artist and thus find Liza. Alas, this attempt was in vain (top left).

Liza told bad artists they could go skip rocks.

Meanwhile, Liza climbed trees to get a better view of love on the horizon.

This was her strategy for many a year.

One day, Luke had an idea – he would enroll the help of his sisters.

Liza, at first, was too busy living the “good life” to notice.

And then Luke’s plan (Cupid’s plan?) struck. Liza and Gigi became close friends while studying abroad.

Liza and Gigi spent their days exploring museums and reading children’s stories to young men in bookshops. Fate seemed ready to bring Liza and Luke together…

But unfortunately, Luke got sidetracked exploring the possibility of becoming a robot. Love was pre product-market fit.

So Liza went off to Columbia to complete her PhD. After 25 years, the dissertation got closure. So did Liza.

Then fate struck again. Liza and Luke met on a group trip to Storm King, an exhibition garden renowned for romantic sculptures (see above).

They fell for each other.

And Luke was always there to catch her.

Liza even considered adopting Luke’s fashion motif...

But then she thought better of it.

A year later, she said Yes -- and now we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
