In Spring 2018, we were both on a mission to get in shape. One of us stayed dedicated to the gym, while the other decided that finding "the one" was a perfectly acceptable reason to retire from cardio forever. After months of exchanging casual "How’s the weather?" conversations, things finally took a turn. As Liza was preparing to quit her job and cancel her Orangetheory membership, Jose was outside the gym spending nearly 30 minutes building up the courage to ask her out. When Jose finally asked for her number, Liza thought, “Why not? If this guy with the crazy cat t-shirts turns out to be weird, I’m leaving this gym anyway—I’ll never have to see him again!” Thankfully, he wasn't weird. One date led to another, and before we knew it, we had found exactly what we weren’t expecting. Now, here we are, planning our wedding... again! We are so excited to celebrate our marriage and this next chapter of our lives with all of you. Thank you for being part of our story—we can't wait to celebrate together in Oaxaca!
