Yes! We kindly ask that guests dress in garden formal attire. Since our ceremony and reception will take place outdoors in a garden setting, we recommend clothing that’s elegant yet comfortable for celebrating under the stars (and maybe on some grass!). For women, think floral or solid dresses in midi to floor-length styles, flowy fabrics, and dressy flats or block heels that won’t sink into the ground. For men, a suit or sport coat with dress pants is perfect—ties are optional but welcomed! Feel free to play with soft colors or classic tones that suit the season and setting. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style!
No need for transportation—everything is in one beautiful place! The ceremony and reception will both take place at The Beaufort Inn, and if you’re staying on-site or in one of the nearby cottages, you’ll be just steps away from all the festivities. We hope this makes your weekend feel easy, relaxed, and walkable!
We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest family and friends! If your invitation includes a plus one, they will be listed by name or indicated on your envelope. If not, we kindly ask that you attend solo—we promise it’ll still be a fun and love-filled night!
While we love your little ones, we’ve decided to keep our celebration mostly adults-only. Children in our immediate families have been invited, but we kindly ask that others make arrangements for a child-free evening. We hope this gives you a chance to relax and enjoy the night with us!
