FAQs

Question

What is the attire?

Answer

Cocktail attire or dressy date night outfit. There will be some grassy walk areas during the ceremony. Ladies may want a thicker block heel or sandal to walk in the grass.

Question

When should guests arrive to be seated?

Answer

Guest should begin arriving and take their seats by 4:30pm. We say "I do" at 5:00pm!

Question

What are my transportation options?

Answer

Transportation is not provided since the ceremony and reception are at the same location. Carpooling or using a car share service like UBER is recommended to get to and from Bakers Ranch. If you are using UBER after the reception, I recommend scheduling a week or so ahead of time on the UBER APP.

Question

If I drive my car, or my rental vehicle, is there adequate parking at the venue?

Answer

There is parking at the venue and a parking attendant will be onsite to assist. There is no valet service at this event. We encourage you to carpool or use a ride share service like UBER. The venue will have parking, but there is no overflow parking once the parking lot is full. Bakers Ranch prefers no vehicles are left overnight on the property but if you feel the need to leave your car be sure to retrieve it before 11:00 am Sunday, or you run the risk of being towed. We highly discourage drinking and driving after the reception we want all of our loved ones to be safe at the end of the night.

Question

Is this an indoor or outdoor event?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors. The cocktail hour will be outside under a covered, concrete area. Reception will follow in the airconditioned indoors....where we will get our dance on!

Question

What's the Southwest Florida weather like in April?

Answer

April/May weather in Florida ranges from a low of 65 at night to a high of 85 during the day. We hop for no rain during the ceremony, but the venue has a backup plan.

Question

Can I take pictures of the ceremony and reception with my cell phone?

Answer

We are asking that cell phones are turned off during the ceremony, but we most definitely want you to take lots of pictures and selfies with your cell phone during the cocktail hour and reception. There will be a QR code displayed on signage to scan and instantly upload your photos during the wedding and in the days after. You will also use the QR code to make a video guestbook message for the couple. So, please bring your cell phone and be on the lookout for the Guestbook QR Code!
