Our story begins in Washington, D.C., when we met while working the same event the night of the White House Christmas Party.

We clicked right away and knew we had something really special in front of us (El Paso Cafe.)

Traveling together for work was a blast - especially when it's back home to North Carolina.

Annnnnd the most historical event of our entire relationship: Ken's first time having Cookout.

In June, we traded our city apartment for a little old house on Chestnut St. in Wilmington, NC.

We had our engagement photos taken during a weekend trip to Asheville, NC.
