Question

Where is the closest airport?

Answer

The closest airport is John Glenn International Airport in Columbus, Ohio, about 30 minutes west of Newark, Ohio.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love kids—especially your kids! But to keep this “second time around” wedding small and intimate, only our children and our nieces and nephews will be joining us. Plan a night out, hire a babysitter, and enjoy a fun evening without being on parent duty!

Question

Are the ceremony and reception in the same place?

Answer

Yes! Both the ceremony and reception will take place at Orchard House in Granville, Ohio. The ceremony is outdoors, so it’s a beautiful setting under the sky—but it’s not covered, so please bring a light jacket or layers if you think you might get chilly in the May evening (you can keep extras in your car if you like). Once the ceremony is over, the reception area is covered, so you’ll be cozy while eating, drinking, and dancing the night away. If you plan to enjoy a cocktail or two, consider Uber, Lyft, or carpooling from your hotel (or from home if you’re local) so you can safely enjoy the evening!

Question

What entertainment can we look forward to?

Answer

Get ready to dance the night away! We’re thrilled to have Trailer Park Ninjas, a Cleveland-based band that’s been rocking the Midwest for over a decade. Their set features a mix of Top 40, Hip-Hop, and crowd-favorite singalongs, complete with synchronized lighting and a state-of-the-art sound system. They take requests, so start thinking of your favorite jam! Check them out at trailerparkninjas.com. During cocktail hour, Teal the Photo Bus will be on site with their vintage VW photo booth, perfect for capturing fun photo strips with friends. Wandering Firefly Mobile Bar Co. will serve custom cocktails, sodas, and more, alongside a “hydration station” with lemonade, tea, and water. Dinner will be lovingly prepared by local favorite restaurant, Snapshots, guided by Lucas Atwood. More details on the menu will be shared soon, but rest assured, anything made by Lucas will be delicious!

Question

Will you have a gift registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is truly the greatest gift we could ask for. As we already have everything we need to enjoy our blended family home, we’re not maintaining a traditional gift registry. If you’d like to contribute in another way, we’re planning a honeymoon adventure (destination coming soon!) and would be grateful for contributions toward that experience. Of course, this is entirely optional—your love and support mean the most to us.
