This is just one of Jacksonville's popular beaches that sits right next to the Casa Marina Hotel. We had our very first date as an official couple here. There are lots of places to eat and drink along Jax Beach!
Are you interested in something more laid back and low key? Neptune beach is one of Jacksonville's local beaches. There are cafes, ice cream shops, boutiques, cigar bars, surf shops, and many places to eat and drink! If the weather is warm feel free to take a dip!
This is one of Jacksonville's newest Ice cream shops with one of the best handcrafted ice creams! They have a range of creative flavors. Vida's favorite is the High Dive Melon (21+) and Darryl's is the Strawberry Mint! You also get a free cookie and sprinkles! Don't underestimate their scoop sizes though!
If you know us, you already know the story of how Darryl fell in love with Vida when she chased down a lady with a pink box of Voodoo donuts in Orlando. But here is one of our local bitesized favorites!
One of our favorite places with a nice view of the St. John's River. One of our favorites is their crab cake sandwich!
This is for all our foodie friends and taco lovers! They have the best fresh guacamole in town made table side!
If you love pizza, you will love Al's pizza! Order the Atlantic Beach Pie. You won't regret it unless you're lactose intolerant!
St. Augustine is a mini trip away from Jacksonville Beach. We recommend taking the scenic route on A1A to see the beautiful coastline, mansions, and architecture along the way. Stop by Castillo De San Marcos, Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine, and the Outlets. You can also check out Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum or the Alligator Farm. Fun Fact: St. Augustine is one of the oldest cities and settlements in the United States.
Big talbot island is known for it's Boneyard beach. Take some really cool pictures with huge driftwood or stop by Little Talbot Island state park for some fun outdoor activities like hiking, biking, hammock therapy, or bird watching.
Interested in a road trip for the kids? Universal Orlando and Disney is just a 2.5 hour drive away! If you want to shop, check out Disney Springs. Winter and spring is the best time to go!
