Let's get this party started.

My first memory of LJ is at a Strikkers 10u tryout. He was running around chasing the wiffle balls that were hit by the girls trying out. Typical LJ, always wanting to be helpful and involved someway, somehow! Our families practically grew up together since I was 10 and he was 12 years old. Softball brought our families together, and we team hopped from 10u Strikkers, to 12u Mize Diamonds, and finally to our 18u Gold team on the South Bay Stars. Marisa was always my softball homie, and LJ was the older brother who was at every single tournament weekend. I didn't find out until years later, but LJ actually asked my dad at 12 years old if he could take me to the movies. My dad said a big HECK NO to that idea. LJ didn't realize that my dad had plans for me to not date until I was 35 years old...duh. A couple of years down the road, we dated pretty seriously for about a month in middle school (you know how that goes). We reconnected again briefly in high school as winter formal dates. Then finally, Snapchat brought us together once again in our college years. We talked, we fell in love, and the rest is history! We can't wait to celebrate the beginning of the rest of our lives with you.
