We're getting married!

We met through a mutual friend 3/9/2019. What started as reluctance to talk to someone with the same name quickly turned into hour long phone calls and good morning text messages. It didnt take long for us to decide to meet and that is where the fun begins. On 3/16/2019 we decided to go on our first date. We went to the movies but met each other before hand to break the ice. I got lost so I called Heather (Johnson) who said to meet her at a parking lot. What I didnt know was she almost bailed on me!!! Needless to say I am glad that didnt happen. So we met and spent an amazing day together talking and getting to know each other. We took my dog to the dog park then went to the movies. That night when we were leaving we had our first kiss. Now I know you are expecting Heather to make some romantic move right? Nope. She waited so I grabbed her and went in for the kiss. After that day it was a done deal. We were inseperable. On 3/22/2019 we went out to eat and hang out with friends. Heather went outside and stood at the window with posters featuring "our song" at the time What Ifs by Kane Brown. At the end she asked me to be her girlfriend. Of course I said yes. Since then we have grown together so much. We have been through many challenging times but always held on to each other. Heather has blessed my life and not only takes care of me but also our puppy Rheya. We moved in together and have been searching for a house near family. After going through so much together it comes as no surprise that I wanted to get married. Heather always told me it wasnt an option. This is why on 3/23/2021 when she asked me to marry her I thought she was joking. She took me to our favorite spot at the park and got down on one knee. I was shocked and thought she was teasing me!!! When I realized she was serious I couldnt stop smiling. I cant imagine my life any other way and cant wait for this next chapter in our lives. We are both so excited to share our day with our closest loved ones.
