we’re getting married !

She was in Atlanta for a layover, and had decided to grab dinner and drinks with the crew. He was out with his friends (probably up to no good), across the street from his apartment. She saw him from across the room and felt a pull towards him instantly, so she decided to walk over and let his friend know how she felt. They locked eyes, and the rest is history.

They were visiting Zion National Park, spending the week camping and hiking around the park. The first day after their arrival, they hiked up Angels landing, a very strenuous hike up to one of the best view points in the park. There’s just something so incredibly empowering about hiking up a mountain peak with the person you love. Once they returned to camp, they started slow cooking some ribs over the campfire. Brendan took her hand, and they proceeded to slow dance around the fire. They had quite a bit of time before dinner was going to be ready, so they decided to take a leisurely stroll around the area. They walked out from camp, followed the river, and with every step got closer into the canyon. Following the curvature of the river bank, they took a left and stumbled upon the prettiest field of yellow wildflowers... it felt like pure magic. He led her into the middle of that beautiful warm field of yellow and it was then— with the sunset illuminating the the canyon walls and the river serenading them, that Brendan got down on one knee.
