We basically met at Jacmel's cousin's (Denise) house for a get together before going on a LIT FAM trip to Miami. After a couple of Aventura songs, I got the courage to sit on Jacmel's lap and have her feed me Tostito chips. I had no idea who she was, the only thing that I knew was that she thought I was annoying because I would constantly send memes to our group chat. Once we went to Miami we got to know each and kept in touch afterwards. On our first date, while trying to make a good impression I took her to eat at Dallas BBQ, where she judged me for eating sticky wings with a fork and knife to avoid her noticing that I eat like a savage. A few days went by and I knew I wanted to have something special with Jacmel and that's when I decided to ask her to be my girlfriend. Together we have traveled, have spent holidays together, made countless memories, experience way too many laughs, witnessed each others college graduations, and taken so many shots that we could open a bar with all the bottles left behind. After 4 years of adventures, memorable events, ups and downs, arguments, and laughs I knew I had found the love of my life and best friend, which is why on June 19, 2020 (literally 4 years of dating) I asked my best friend to spend the rest of our lives together and she laughed at me for like two minutes (out of nervousness) and finally said YES.
