We're getting married!

We swiped RIGHT! We met on a dating app in 2016 and had our first date at a wine bar in Livermore, CA. We took a stroll down Livermore that night, ate ice cream while getting to know each other. We still go back every year remembering our first date.

We took a trip to SD to celebrate Jocelyn's birthday with her siblings. The day after her birthday, we had planned to go out to the beach with her family and take a ride on her brother's boat. That morning my nerves started to kick in, and I had no idea how I would execute "MISSION ENGAGEMENT." Once we arrived at the beach, her siblings were asking me what my plan was, and I yet had no idea. We were all hanging out on the beach, and I looked at her siblings to give them "The Nod." I told Jocelyn that I was hot and wanted to get into the water. Of course, my lovely fiance to be didn't want to get into the water, and everyone had to force her to go into the water with me. As we walked through the hot sand and into the water, my heart was pounding, and I knew time was coming. As we looked across the water, I started to express my love to her through words and tears of happiness. I pulled her to look at me in the eyes. As I am getting down on one knee and pulling the ring out of the box, I see the ring coming out, almost falling into the ocean. Luckily, I was able to snatch it fast. Once I got control of the ring, these lovely words came out of my mouth, "Will you .....?" Jocelyn didn't let me finish my sentence and said, "I DO."
