The Peaks Resort & Spa

The Peaks Resort is offering our guests a 10% discount off their regular rate anytime between October 1-6! Note: Make sure you click 'Search' once you select your dates or it'll look like there aren't any rooms available. It should also be showing "Marder-Williamson" next to room rate, so make sure that's selected if you don't see it. The Peaks is centrally located near where the shuttles will pick up/drop off from the wedding venue, but it's only a gondola away if you decide to stay at another hotel nearby or in an Airbnb.

AIRBNB

There are so many Airbnb options in Telluride & Mountain Village, you truly can't go wrong! If you do choose to stay in an Airbnb, be mindful that the gondola stops running ~midnight and Uber just isn't a thing. Due to COVID, our planners are suggesting our guests play it safe and book with a hotel since they'll have a better procedure for handling any regulation changes, but we all understand if snazzy mountain houses are just calling your name. If you do book with Airbnb, please make sure to read their COVID cancellation policy!

Flight

TEX (Telluride Airport)

Telluride airport has a handful of flights in and out a day, with two commercial airlines flying into it from Denver: Denver Air Connection & United (via Boutique Air). If you book through United, your connection from Denver will be through Boutique Air and a small 6-seater charter plane. While it's the most direct flight, Telluride airport is mildly unreliable in the case of storms, snow, or strong wind.

Flight

MTJ (Montrose, CO Airport)

Montrose airport is the prettiest 90-minute distance from Telluride and a lot more reliable to fly into. There are more commercial flights available (Southwest just joined their list!) and they offer more flexibility depending where you're connecting from. If you do fly into Montrose, you can either rent a car or take a shuttle to/from. Either way, you'll have 90 minutes of beautiful mountains, rivers, and wildlife to check out on your way to Telluride.

NOTE: There is no Uber/Lyft/Ridesharing available in Telluride. Some hotels provide their own shuttles to/from, but it's not a guarantee. Our personal experience is with Telluride Express or Mountain Limo. Both have always been timely and courteous, plus they're the best tour guides between Montrose and Telluride you could ask for! They will 100% point out Ralph Lauren's Double RL Ranch to you as you go by and have tons of celebrity gossip to share. Can you guess which of these things matter more to Kevin or Lindsay?

Rental Car

Montrose Regional Airport

Montrose has all the normal options from rental agencies to choose from. However, you will not need a car once you get to Telluride. We'll be providing transportation to/from the wedding venue, and everywhere else you'll want to go is walkable! Telluride offers a gondola that runs until midnight and will take you to/from the town and Mountain Village.
