We met at work (classic cliché) but we really did not intend to ever interact. We started working a month apart from each other. I was in the design department and he was the plant's new Production Manager. We shared glances and felt connected without saying a word to each other for weeks. As the story unfolds, we finally decided to meet outside of work. We met at a local restaurant and bonded instantly over music, family, food, and everything in between! We just clicked. That’s pretty much when we thought, “Okay. This could be something."
Sean and I share the same interest in documenting our memories. Photographing our backyard parties, concerts, trips and daily life became a hobby of ours. We started using disposable cameras everywhere and developed albums of all our family and friends. We also take mini photo sessions in different places when traveling. Capturing our experiences together became our thing. So it was no coincidence that Sean decided to capture one of the biggest days of our lives! He put a plan together with the family to create a fake giveaway from a local photographer for a couples photography session. It went as planned and I didn't think anything of it since this is right up our alley. Sean and I got dressed up together and arrived to a beautiful backdrop. I didn’t realize what was going to happen until the photographer asked me to step forward for a pose and when I turned back around Sean was on one knee! I screamed, "Is this real life?" Yes, I'll marry you!" And just like that, we were engaged. We celebrated back at my parent's house with family and close friends. It was one of the best moments of our lives. We are so excited to celebrate this special day with you!
