COVID 19

Answer

While we would love to invite everyone, COVID19 concerns have increased, and the health and safety for our guest remains our top priority. We ask that NO extra guest accompany you. Only those invited on invitation, mask be worn by all guest throughout the events. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we celebrate our big day safely.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? Cash Bar?

Answer

Yes. We have planned a delicious menu for our guest. If you have any allergies or are vegan or vegetarian, please inbox Annette Thomas on Facebook messenger. So we can make the needed adjustments. Drinks: We are excited to host you for dinner. Wine and beer will be offered by the bride and groom, if you want anything stronger there will be other options at your cost.

Where should guests park?

Answer

RME is providing a shuttle bus, free of charge for our wedding guest, due to another event being held prior and will be take up majority of the parking. Guest are being asked to park at Edgecombe Community College, 225 Tarboro Street, Rocky Mount. This is a 3 min ride and a 8 min walk (if you choose to walk). With that being said, please arrive early, so transportation can be provided. Wedding WILL start at 3pm.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed!! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible (at least a week before) and make sure your RSVP states no, if you know in advance, so that we can plan food and table seating accordingly.

Are children allowed?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is a children-free event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Do I have to mail back my RSVP or can I RSVP online?

RSVP will be online on our wedding site. Instructions will be included in invitation.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We are at capacity with our venue which means we are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests. due to COVID restrictions. If your invitation include a plus one, the option to add their information will be available. We look forward to celebrating with you on the day!

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

The dress code for our wedding is formal. Ladies should wear dresses or dressy jumpers and men should wear a suit and tie or sport coat. (no sneakers, jeans, t-shirts)

Where are you registered?

Answer

We have been living together a year or two and we don't need anything new. The most important gift to us is having you share our special day. However, should you wish to help us celebrate with a gift, a contribution to our honeymoon fund, would be great, so we can create memories that will last a lifetime.

Where is the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be at the same location, indoors; Rocky Mount Event Center, 285 NE Main St, Rocky Mount, NC 27801

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures, nearby for around 45 minutes to an hour. Guest will be provided with a light refreshment and beverage. Guests, also will have fun taking pictures and writing a few words of wisdom to the bride and groom.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive at least 30 minutes to an hour before the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and get everything started on schedule. Also, due to COVID, we may need to do temp checks and make sure everyone has a mask. PS: NO ONE will be allowed in after the ceremony starts !!

Yes and there are several other hotels listed on our site., under travel. We have hotels reserved at Homewood Suites, Rocky Mount, NC

May I take a centerpiece/candle/flowers home as a souvenir?

No, everything belongs to the decorator.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

The ceremony will be unplugged. We want you to come and enjoy every moment with us. We would love and encourage guests to post pictures afterward on their social media channels our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #livelovelaughpray so we can enjoy them as well.
