Our wedding will be held at a charming, working lavender farm. The ceremony will take place outdoors on a beautiful, grassy lawn, with the reception following in a stunning, rustic-luxe barn just 150 yards away. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes for the ceremony—think wedges, block heels, or flats—as the lawn might be tricky for stilettos. If you’d like to change into different shoes for the reception, that's no problem! The parking area is conveniently located between the ceremony and reception spaces, so you can grab a quick shoe change if needed.
May 31, 2025, at Luna Lavender Farms in Guinda, CA. The ceremony will begin at 5:00 PM, with the reception to follow at the same location. Please plan to arrive 15–30 minutes early so you have time to find a seat and get comfy.
We kindly ask that you arrive 15–30 minutes early to ensure everyone is seated and ready for the ceremony to begin on time.
Cocktail to semi-formal attire. Think dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or slacks with a button-up and tie.
When you arrive at the venue, you’ll drive up a long driveway that passes the main house on the property. Continue past the house, and you’ll find the parking lot on the right-hand side, marked with a sign.
To keep our guest list within the venue’s capacity, we kindly ask that you arrange childcare if possible. While a few children from the wedding party and out-of-town guests will be attending, we’re hoping to keep it mostly an adults-only evening so everyone can relax and enjoy the celebration!
Unfortunately, we weren’t able to accommodate plus ones for everyone. Please check your Evite for details, or feel free to reach out to the bride or groom if you have any questions.
Please let us know as soon as possible when you RSVP, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs!
We’ve spent the last 8 years building our home together, so it's pretty jam-packed with everything we need! If you’d like to give a gift, we’d be incredibly grateful for a contribution through our registry page. You can use Venmo or a credit card to help us kick off our next adventure!
How could we say no?! Feel free to text Jennifer or Zachary for our address, and we’ll happily send it your way!
Yes! We’ll have two signature drinks inspired by our favorite movies: the “Wookiee Whiskey”—a classic whiskey old fashioned—and the “Live Long and Lavender”—a refreshing lavender vodka cocktail. We’ll also have a selection of beer and wine to keep everyone’s glasses full. Feel free to bring your favorite beverage if you’d like!
Yes! Please tag your photos with #BainOfZakksExistence so we can relive the day through your eyes!
In Guinda, California, late May typically brings warm and pleasant weather. On May 31st, you can expect average high temperatures around 82°F and lows near 53°F. Rain is uncommon during this time, as May is part of the dry season in the region. We recommend dressing comfortably for the warmth and bringing a light layer for the cooler evening temperatures.
If you're considering staying overnight after the wedding, Cache Creek Casino Resort is a convenient option, located about 10 minutes from the venue. Please note, they do not offer discounts. For more affordable accommodations nearby, consider: - Hotel Winters: Approximately 30 minutes away in Winters, CA. - Journey Inn: Located in Woodland, CA, about 35 minutes from the venue. - Best Western Shadow Inn: Also in Woodland, offering comfortable stays within a 35-minute drive. These hotels provide a range of options to suit different budgets and preferences.
Please let us know as soon as you can if you'll be able to join us. The latest we can accept RSVPs is April 16th.
